Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy
As a Fintech company, we adhere to obligations in terms of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act No. 38 of 2001. At No-Cash, we have adopted KYC processes to verify the identity of our recipients and customers. Our KYC policy serves to combat money laundering and fraud, as well as to entrench trust between our customers and our recipients.
Recipient Onboarding
To be onboarded as a No-Cash recipient, you are required to be KYC compliant. To comply, we require the following from our recipients:
- Valid Identification Document
- Proof of Address
- Completed Recipient Form
Additional Requirements for Non-Resident Recipients
- Work permit/residence permit
- Valid foreign passport
We perform regular updates to ensure our recipients' information is up to date.
Customer Onboarding
To create a No-Cash profile as a customer, you are required to be KYC compliant. To comply, we require the following from our customers:
- Valid Identification Document
- Proof of Address
Customer and recipient profiles may be frozen if any information provided is found to be inaccurate or outdated.
